Move-in and move-out cleaning on Martha's Vineyard follows our Move-In/Move-Out checklist. Every room is cleaned by hand, with a focus on removing build-up, including the drawers, shelves and cabinets that are easiest to reach when a home is empty.
Every move-in and move-out cleaning includes:
Ceiling fans, light fixtures and cobwebs
Baseboards, moldings, woodwork and window sills
Doors, door frames and light switch plates
Drawers, empty shelves and the inside of cabinets
Cabinet fronts, countertops and backsplashes
Stovetop, grates and the inside of the microwave
Bathrooms scrubbed, with tubs, showers and tiles double scrubbed
Floors vacuumed and/or mopped, and stairs vacuumed
Not every move starts with an empty house. Some homes still have furniture or built-in appliances, and some are furnished homes between tenants. We work with each situation based on the agreed scope, and every cleaning follows our detailed checklist and established cleaning standards.
Island moves often happen on a tight schedule, with ferry reservations and closing dates to work around. We plan your cleaning ahead of time and can use a secure lockbox, so the home can be cleaned even if you're already off-Island.
