How is pricing determined?
Pricing depends on the size of the home, the level of cleaning required and how
often we come — including the number of rooms, any special requests, and
factors like pets or high-traffic areas.
Recurring clients pay a lower per-visit rate than one-time bookings, because a
home that’s consistently maintained takes less intensive work each visit. That
gap widens over time.
Every home is different, so we quote each one specifically. Send us the details
and you’ll have a real number, not a range that changes after the first visit.
Do I have to be home when Shine Bright cleans my house?
No — and most of our Vineyard clients prefer not to be. We do not keep keys.
Our standard method is a lockbox or a secure entry code that you control and
can change at any time, from anywhere.
We install the lockbox at no cost. Our team completes the service, and you get
confirmation when the visit is finished. If you have a different access
arrangement — a property manager, a caretaker, a smart lock — tell us in
advance and we’ll work with it.
How do I know I can trust the cleaners?
Every Shine Bright cleaner is a W-2 employee, not a contractor. That matters
more than it sounds: it means payroll, taxes and workers’ compensation are our
responsibility, not a liability that lands on the homeowner.
Each one passes a background check before their first visit and is trained in
cleaning technique, safe handling of surfaces, client privacy and our quality
checklists. The company is licensed, bonded and fully insured in Massachusetts.

Who will be cleaning my home?
Depending on the size of the job, a trained solo cleaner or a small dedicated
team — and, wherever scheduling allows, the same people every visit.
That consistency is the point. A team that already knows your home knows which
surfaces need care, where things belong and what you’ve asked for before, so
you’re not re-explaining it every month. When a substitute is unavoidable, they
work from the same documented notes for your property.
Do you clean vacation rentals and handle seasonal opening and closing?
Yes — it’s a large share of what we do on the Island.
For short-term rentals we coordinate turnovers around your booking calendar,
including back-to-back stays, and report anything a guest left behind or
anything that needs maintenance attention.
For seasonal homes we open the house before you arrive and close it down after
you leave, and can keep a maintenance visit running through the quiet months so
you never return to a house that needs a full reset first.
Do you guarantee a specific day and time?
We guarantee a specific day for every scheduled cleaning. The first appointment
of the day carries an 8:00–8:30 a.m. arrival window; later appointments use a
two-hour window to allow for travel across the Island.
If your home needs more time than estimated, we contact you and get approval
before continuing — you’re never surprised by an invoice. If you have timing
constraints, tell our scheduling team and we’ll build the route around them.
Is Shine Bright licensed and insured?
Yes. Shine Bright Cleaning Services is fully licensed, bonded and insured to
operate in Massachusetts, and our coverage protects both your home and our
team.
In the rare event that something is damaged, we tell you, we document it, and
we take responsibility for repair or replacement. We’d rather have that
conversation than avoid it — accountability is the whole reason clients stay
with us for twenty and thirty years.
